To nook or not to nook?
Published 1 year, 6 months ago in My life.My wife says I should be making her a drink instead of doing this. So what’s my question?
To nook or not to nook: that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer the Singapore Slings that cost an outrageous fortune,
or to take arms against a sea of gin and tonics,
and by consuming end them? To shake? To stir?
To drink? To nook?
To sleep? Perchance to dream and then to wake up with a hangover? Ay, there’s the rum.

My wife says it’s time to get off the computer. What time? says I. Ahh, she’s right. ’tis time for the World Cup final. And beer.

I’m not a drinker, so to Nook I say.
World Cup - what an embarrassing stuff-up at the end. I’ll post a question about it.
I hope your wife gets over her two broken arms, or that is what I assume is wrong with her. Make you own drink is my reply… at least I am not down the Pub or TAB like other blokes. Computers are fun and keep me off the streets and at home.
I take your point meinrosebud but to be fair she was making dinner at the time. Two minutes of me making a gin and tonic is a good deal compared with 40 mins at the stove!
Oh well that’s a fair trade, perhaps your computer is too far away from the bar anyway lol.
All’s I can say about the “to drink/to Nook” dichotomy… don’t do both at once! XD
There’s nothing like nooking. Why waste you time doing something else? Nook is a great tool for gossip and learning so let’s go for it!!!
I sincerely hope you’re well trained - and for your own health and safety the wife got her drink….It really doesn’t take much to keep the “little woman” happy…get the drink while you’re waiting for something to upload.
Be like a woman - do two things at once!!
No, as a male I am restricted to one thing at a time. And I’m not even sure I’m any good at that… Maybe I’m a “no thing at a time'’ kinda guy.
