Where’s a great place for icecream?
Published 10 months, 3 weeks ago in Eat & Drink.Answer: Cones in Station St, Fairfield. Good range and quality, and we often call in for a refreshing gelati after eating out. Try the lychee or lemon gelatis.

Krispy Kreme does the best caramel ice cream I’ve ever tasted.
Trampoline, the caramel pear, and sesame flavours are both amazing.
dairy bell ice cream shop on the corner of waverly road is my icecream heaven
Well I’m not sure where you’re located or where you are willing to go to…
I like Moods (Cafe Bar and Restaurant) in Berwick for all things of the sweet variety.
Their ice cream/gelati bar is very tempting… classics from Rum n Raisin to Pistachio, to Baileys, Snickers, Honeycomb, Raspberry, Passionfruit, Blood Orange, Coconut, and rather a few more.
Also worth trying out for cakes…. most recently I had the lemon tart and flourless orange cake which were both delightful.
The other new place in my neighbourhood is Cold Rock Ice Creamery. Not fantastic for the prices… its basically pretty average varieties that you ‘add’ extra bits (lollies and chocolate for exampel smashed up and rolled into the ice cream on cold boards) hence the Cold Rock title…
Maybe I went in there on the wrong day, the service was average, a few jerks holding the fort.
It’s popular with the kiddies however. . . so I’ll leave it there.
Plas - sesame flavoured ice cream sounds very interesting!
Gelati Sky in Port Melbourne. FANTASTIC! Nobody in the world could match their Peanut Butter Ice Cream. It has won many awards. You’ll love it!
I know! I know! There’s this galati place… Lygon St in Brunswick. I think it’s between Barkly St and Weston St. You’ll see it; there’s usually heaps of people hovering around outside.
