Sky High, Mt Dandenong, fantastic views, food used to be great too but have not been for a while.
Doesn’t anywhere on South Banks first floor restaurants fit the bill? Yellow pages could do the walking for you!
can’t remember if they have changed names or are still the same but the views from the sofitel’s eateries at the top of collins street are pretty good. I think they are called le restaurant and cafe la. hey, the view from the gents on the 35th floor was pretty good (I only know because some of the boys were so impressed a few years ago they invited us girls in to have a squiz!!)
let us know where you go!
I think Rockpool at the Casino was named Melbourne’s best restaurant by the Age’s Good Food Guide. However, you will pay an arm and a leg to eat there.
thanks everyone. I’ll give all of these a go and report back - I do love a pleasant view to accompany a good meal.
