Well, it’s a slightly over the top US legal drama. A large group of former employees of a big failed company are trying to get access to their entitlements and the former company owner is trying to avoid coughing up a few hundred million dollars. It’s all very sinister with both legal sides using dirty tricks. The one major character who seems not to be a nasty type is a young woman lawyer and she’s having trouble picking her way between many ethical and moral issues. Glenn Close is given freedom to be one of the most unpleasant characters ever to grace our screens. Ted Danson is the big bad boss with more than a handful of secrets. All good fun.
It’s on at 10.30pm on Wednesday nights. It’ll probably get axed.
I’ve watched it religiously every week but I find the jumping back in time quite tiresome as the weeks go on. No one really knows who is the goodie and the baddies because the methods used by both parties are appalling. If it resembles anything like the real legal system in America I hope they keep it over there as a lesson on how to achieve an outcome…
I thought the time change may be because they’re streaming it out of America like House now, but not sure…..
I thought I would give it two more weeks before I switch off. It may get axed because it is too drawn out and confusing with all the characters being undesirable except of course the spunky doctor who got himself brutally murdered with the statue of liberty. I can imagine many such statues hit the rubbish bin after the graphic bath scene, viewed about 10 times!
America Directors love the gore, don’t they?
yeah, that time-shift thing is annoying.
Anyone watch this week’s episode (Wed 31 October) as I missed it. Can someone please tell me what happened as I can’t believe I missed this episode!
